Full-Stack Engineer
Own features end to end across the Velo workspace, from the database to the pixel a client sees on their invoice.
Velo is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who likes shipping complete features, not tickets. You will work across our Next.js and TypeScript codebase on the parts of Velo that freelancers, studios and agencies rely on every day: proposals, invoices, projects, client portals and payments.
This is a hands-on role on a small team. You will take a problem from a rough idea to a released feature, talk directly with users when something is unclear, and care about the details that make money-related software trustworthy — correct totals, clear states, and nothing lost when two people edit at once.
Design and build product features across the frontend, API and data layer. Improve reliability and performance of invoicing, currency and tax logic. Write tests for the flows where a mistake costs someone money. Review code, improve our tooling, and help shape technical decisions as the product grows.
Experience with Next.js App Router and server components. Background in billing, fintech or accounting software. Experience building features on top of LLMs.
